On January 23, 2019 a special event for Holocaust survivors was held in Upper-Nazareth, in our daughter congregation “Netzer HaGalil”. Our Ministry “Return to Zion” has built a deep and warm relationship with Holocaust survivors in Haifa and Upper-Nazareth and its surrounding areas for the last 8-9 years. This last one was organized in cooperation with the “Beit Sar Shalom” Ministry. The musician and singer Anzhelika Portanenko performed wonderful songs in Yiddish and Russian with her band from Vinnitsa, Ukraine. After the concert a dinner was served, and the time used for meaningful fellowship.

These elderly people who survived very difficult times are grateful to everyone who pays attention to them, expressing love and care. And in return we are thankful to the God of Israel for keeping them and continuing to keep them today, and for giving us another opportunity to talk to these people about this God and about His Salvation for them!
