Prayer and worship meeting of pastors

Beginning of this month we had the privilege to host a prayer and worship meeting of pastors at Return to Zion Ministry initiated by Tom Hess. A pastor and evangelist from Jerusalem.

About 30 pastors from Jewish Messianic and Arab congregations participated. We worshiped the Almighty, prayed for spiritual growth and development of believers, protection of the Land of Israel and for the future elections. It was a blessed and anointed time together.

The same day in the evening we organized a family day for new immigrants.

When people move to another country, they face various difficulties and trials. New language, new rules of communication, searching for work and housing – these are real challenges for almost every new immigrant. If our family, those who love us and who are ready to support and comfort us, stand together with us – any stress, any difficulty becomes easier to overcome. “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken,” – the scriptures teach us. We, as a community, understand the special role of the family not only for its members, but also for society, and for the Jewish nation as well. On the 5th of the February, at the event dedicated to National Family Day at the “Returned to Zion” congregation, were invited new immigrant families, some of which had just arrived in the country. Funny contests and songs, the sweet treats – all these helped decorate a festive evening, but the focus of this event was, of course, on prayer and on a short message about family through the eyes of the Tanakh (the Bible).
