And all the nations will come together …

Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles) – is not only the memory of the booths /tents in the wilderness, when the Lord led the People of Israel out of Egypt, but it is also a time when Jewish homes are filled with guests and joy. At our congregation in Haifa “Return to Zion” during the Sukkot week celebrations, we had visitors not only from residents of nearby areas, but also guests from abroad. Young people from Taiwan, Japan, France and Norway happily shared the joy of the holiday. Those who wished to perform, shared some of their talents and gifts, singing songs and performing acrobatic exercises, and the tables were filled with delicious treats. The congregation, in fact – it is a family in which there is room for everyone!
