Despite the quarantines, epidemics, and restrictions, the flow of new immigrants to Israel does not end. As before, most of them come from Russian-speaking countries. The Aleph program is a great opportunity to invite new immigrants to reflect on eternal questions. During easy communication, games, and refreshments, we, relying on scientific facts and examples from the history of Israel, reflect together on the origin of man, his purpose, on the relationship between creation and the Creator. Now that most of the quarantine restrictions have been lifted, finally, after a long break, we were able to return to the program of the Aleph discussion club. Past meetings have shown that the optimal number of guests should be within the range of 25-30 people, so we did this time too. 28 guests of the club (mostly young families who came with their children) and 12 members of the Aleph team gathered on November 10, 2021, in the hall of the Return to Zion Congregation for their first meeting of the club. In total, it is planned to hold seven such meetings, once a week, step by step we will approach the main issue of life – “how to restore the lost relationship with the Lord for us today?” Of course, we understand that no program, no matter how good it is, can by itself lead a person to the Lord, and therefore we pray and ask for your prayer support so that the Spirit of the Lord touches the hearts of all guests of the Aleph Club, and so that He Himself guides all our discussions and all our meetings.
