Passover with new immigrants

Israel is such a melting pot for Jews who immigrated here from all over the world. Each of them brought their own culture and knowledge about the Jewish holidays. This past Tuesday, we had an evening where we invited around 40 new immigrants and children to a dinner about Passover. Some were immigrants we had assisted over the past few weeks with food baskets and aid for the holiday. Others were regular immigrants that come weekly for assistance on any matter (translation, culture or just someone to talk to).
During the dinner we had the wonderful opportunity to help them learn more about Passover. We went over the Passover Hagada and taught them about the Passover Seder, the symbolisms in it and their connection with the messiah.
We were also able to share with them about who we are and our projects.
