Beginning of January, we wrote about the initiative to provide elderly immigrants living in two city hostels with weekly hot meals. Now finally, thanks to the support and prayers of partners around the world, our team was able to deliver the first home-cooked meal to the senior citizens. There are only 30 recipients so far, but this important initiative could bring a little more “good” into the world. According to Israeli law, any religious activity is prohibited during charitable actions. However, if we have no right to openly talk to these people about salvation, or to invite them to the congregation, or to distribute any spiritual literature, no one has the right to forbid praying for them wherever you are, in your congregations and homes, and the testimony of the Lord love is evident far beyond words. We believe that this small endeavor can also bear great fruit for His kingdom.
